Limewood Handmade Soap

I found a little time to make one last batch of soap before I fly off to Denver for the Handcrafted Soapmakers Guild Annual Conference. It’s our usual Limewood soap, but with a little more bling. I sprinkled some gold mica on top just before setting it aside to saponify (that’s soaper talk for “turn into soap”).

If I get a moment, I’ll post some photos of the bars after cutting. Otherwise, you’ll next hear from me once I’m in Denver. Although I hate traveling, this is one event that I’m glad I won’t be missing this year. The Guild has some great speakers and activities lined up. But the best part is just being with others who share my love of all things soapy! And I’ll be posting all the fun right here, too! So stay tuned…
