2013 in review

Ah, numbers. Love them or hate them, they usually come in very handy. We use numbers to figure out our tax returns (oh, joy). And without numbers the big, shiny ball in Times Square wouldn’t know when to drop on New Year’s Eve.

Numbers are also fun when they take a bunch of data and information and smoosh it into a report that shows that your blogging really is a worthwhile and helpful endeavor. (Mom, I’m looking at you.)

That’s why I’m so grateful that the WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2013 annual report for my blog. It’s a cool snap shot of what happened on the blog during the past year. With numbers!

How cool is it? Here’s an excerpt:

The Louvre Museum has 8.5 million visitors per year. The Sirona Springs blog was viewed about 75,000 times in 2013. If it were an exhibit at the Louvre Museum, it would take about 3 days for that many people to see it.

Thank you, numbers! Click here to see the complete report.

And I wish you all the best and brightest in the new year!!
