Pacha Soap Co.

I will never tire of stories like these! Here’s another company making a difference through the science & art of soapmaking: Pacha Soap Co.

We’re not just giving soap; We’re Raising the Bar

We are committed to raising the bar in every aspect of our business. Not only are we raising bars of soap to give to those in need, but we are also raising the bar on how business is run. We responsibly source our ingredients and create, market and sell our soap with integrity.

We’re not just giving soap; We’re providing education

Washing hands with soap can reduce the risk of diarrheal diseases by up to 47% (unicef.org). That is why Pacha and its giving partners are not only giving bars of soap but also teaching proper hand washing techniques in order to promote health and hygiene on a global scale.

We’re not just giving soap; We’re creating sustainabilty

We establish sustainable soap-making shops in developing nations that employ local people and use local ingredients to make soap. Soap has the potential to save lives, as well as to provide jobs in areas where extreme poverty exists. Learn about our first soap-making shop in Burundi, Africa!

Pacha Soap Co. is the “Toms Shoes” of the soap world. They have a 1:1 business model – every bar sold is matched with a bar given away. To support Pacha Soap Co. in their mission, check out their website.

  1. Ruth, I love your articles I’ve read almost all of them!

You probably don’t know me, but I am a soap maker also. I love making soap so much I made a forum for everyone to join that’s free! Most forums you see nowadays have a membership fee for information which can be expensive when you don’t have much at all.

I was wondering if you could please share my website? diysoapmaking.com of course your website will be on my site once it becomes popular!

Thanks for your help in fixing the soaping community!

  2. That is so awesome! We’re a new soap company and I hope that one day we will be able to give back to our community as well. My dream is to work with a local transitional assistance housing program to give people re-entering society a job to build work experience and a hand up rather than a hand out.
